A line study heightened with hatching, this Cheeseburger applies KAWS's visual signature — the crossed-out eyes — to one of the great totems of American pop culture. Drawn on graph paper and annotated with his own “recipe” (bacon, pickle eyes), it belongs to the OriginalFake period, when the artist extended his bestiary to junk food icons.
